In November of 1999, two brothers-in-law had an idea, that the North End of the Hilton Head Island really needed a friendly, unassuming Neighborhood restaurant that served good food at reasonable prices.When John Roppelt and Aaron Glugover opened the Main Street Cafe & Pub in Main Street Village, restaurant choices were limited. Our comfortable and laid back cafe on Main Street has become a favorite of residents in Hilton Head Plantation, Palmetto Hall, Indigo Run and other nearby neighborhoods, not to mention the savvy tourists that have inquired as to where the "Locals" eat. Specializing in seafood and family favorites, our restaurant serves "Pub fare with a creative flair".
